What Is Marine Accessories?

Marine Accessories covers fabricated steel and stainless-steel components for ports, quays and coastal structures — ladders, walkways, brackets, fixings and support steelwork exposed to seawater and spray. Power Builders’ background includes stainless-steel works on the Ain Sokhna (DP World) port development.

Components are fabricated from marine-grade stainless steel (typically 316/316L) or hot-dip galvanized carbon steel, with protection systems selected to EN ISO 12944 for the marine corrosivity category.

Why You Need It

The marine environment is the most aggressive there is for steel. Chloride-laden air and immersion attack ordinary steel and even under-specified stainless grades, leading to corrosion, staining and failure of critical port fittings.

Correct grade selection and protection — 316L stainless or heavy galvanizing to the right corrosivity category — deliver fittings that survive the marine setting.
